    WHO WE ARE

Gioia Cheese, the making of mozzarella

PT Gioia Cheese Indonesia was born in 2011, the brainchild of two Italians who moved to Bali to reinvent their life and who shared a common passion for cheese.

 

The mission was to produce excellent dairy products, with  original Italian recipes using only local raw products.

Our journey started by importing the proper production equipment from Italy and continued by sourcing local farmers that would meet our quality standards and match our philosophy.

We travelled to Jawa, to the Malang area and found our trusted non-intensive farms, where cows are grass fed with no antibiotics.In Amed we found a precious resource for high quality salt of organic origin and extraordinary taste and texture.
 

We use only non-animal rennet and no speed-up agents are involved in the production process  and are proud that our products are 100% natural and suitable for vegetarians whilst made in the tradition of our cheese masters.

We drive to keep improving the quality of our products and to enlarge the varieties in our range. Hard work, passion and humbleness are the strongholds of our vision.
