MOZZARELLA IN CARROZZA

Spread over six slices of bread and mozzarella slices of anchovies (can be done also without anchovies).

Cover with the remaining slices of bread and press lightly with your hands.

Sprinkle the slices with milk, dip in flour, place them on a plate and cover with the beaten eggs. Let stand for 20 minutes.

Place them in a baking pan and bake for about 15-20 min. at 200 degrees until they are golden brown.

 

Ingredients for 4 portions:

 

- 12 slice toast bread with no crust

- Mozzarella 150 gr

- 12 desalted anchovy fillets

- Milk 80 ml

- Just as bit of flour 

- 2 eggs

- Salt
